Pray for a better day

I had some years in my 20s living as a gypsie.

Regards to what 'gypsie' means to me, it'd be redefining all concepts of life based on my own expriences and lessons from them, not follow any social or group ideas.

I had long hair, beards, yoga pants, baggy clothes, making friends and traveling, usually to rural areas in Thailand and Vietnam. I read Osho, Krishnamurti, had many one night stands and flings. Well, a typical poor gypsie.

And now I'm working in IT, having a classical haircut and a dady body, waiting for my first child. I've got so many good stories during that time.

I've got a baby face so my colleagues, some of them think I'm from a wealthy family or having an easy life. But I bet they wouldn't believe my life story if I told them. So I often smile walking away or dodging from answering, I'd like to let them know what they wanna know.

Actually, I've had so many hardships in life. Big waves, small waves, drugs, gangs or beautiful places, amazing people, I've experienced all. I've seen all walks of life. It's true that everywhere, it's same same but different.

Just travel enough, you'd see that life everywhere is the same. People are suffering a lot. Struggle is normal when it should not be the norm. And pollution, yes pollution is everywhere. Not to mention not-good people, they're everywhere as well. But we get used to it.

It got boring more and more that I stopped traveling. I settled down in one place that's the most healthy city I can live and grow.

I went in. I learned to change myself to the better...

But in the end, I know I'm just a fragile human being in a ocean of infinity. So I pray, I pray for a better day, for everyone in the world. Life's been treating me better lately, I thank Life for that.

Still I'm tired, exhausted from working. Still I write, coz it cleans my soul. Today, Life has taken all my energy and revealed what's left:

I love you and I thank you. I'm sorry, please forgive me.

I pray that tomorrow's a better day for all of us.
